Serving others in God's love!

"Service Week" is a favorite annual tradition at Christ the King. And believe it or not, the week is almost here ... this Saturday, October 16th, marks the kickoff with our Red Cross Blood Drive in the Knights Chapel. Check out some of the other finished projects that are beginning to arrive at our Faith Formation office! "Box of Joy" from Cross-Catholic Outreach is a new project

this year, where families fill shoe boxes with Christmas gifts -- and they're shipped worldwide to children in need. Sometimes it's the only Christmas gift that a child will receive. Many wonderful boxes have been returned to our office! Also, check out the amazing pumpkins that one of our Grade 9 Faith Formation students decorated for local nursing home residents, to bring autumn/Halloween cheer!

All donated, finished items are due in our Faith Formation office by Sunday, October 31st. This Sunday, October 17th, we will gather at noon in Classroom 1 of our Parish Center building to decorate tote bags for holding donated children's books for Mary's Corner! Come join us and show off your creativity!
