Comprehensive Youth Ministry (CYM) serves young people in Grades 6 and older and follows the guidelines outlined in Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry (published by the USCCB). CYM centers around three main goals:
1) To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.

Advocacy | Catechesis | Community Life | Evangelization | Justice and Service | Leadership Development
Pastoral Care | Prayer and Worship
A parish's CYM team includes several adults (who are passionate about supporting young people in their faith) and a small group of young people (usually high school students). This core team serves as the visioning group for the parish's Youth Ministry experience.
